Marcus Mescher

Marcus Mescher is professor of Christian ethics at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He specializes in Catholic social thought and moral formation. His research, writing, and teaching focus on what solidarity offers to and asks from us. He has authored more than fifty publications for both popular outlets and academic journals, as well as The Ethics of Encounter: Christian Neighbor Love as a Practice of Solidarity (2020) and Fratelli Tutti Study Guide (2021). He holds a Ph.D. from Boston College.
