Seminar on Pope Francis, Catholic Social Thought, and Public Life

Every year 20 Georgetown undergraduates take a special seminar taught by John Carr, director of the Initiative and adjunct professor in the theology department, focused on the moral criteria and impact of Catholic principles in U.S. policy and politics.

Those interested in learning more about the seminar, its topics, and assigned readings can explore the latest syllabus.

Other courses on Catholic social thought can be found through the course catalogue, and more of Georgetown’s work on the Church and the World can be explored on the Global Georgetown website.
