David Jimenez
Fellow (2026-2027), Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life
David Jimenez is a manager of government affairs for social policy at the Niskanen Center, where he works to advance the think tank’s approaches to family economic security, disability policy, paid leave, unemployment insurance, and child care. Jimenez previously was senior manager of government affairs for Prison Fellowship, the nation’s largest Christian prison ministry, where he managed federal and state legislative campaigns on criminal justice issues. Jimenez earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Bowdoin College and was a Fulbright English teaching assistant in Romania. He serves as a member of the Saint Augustine Parish Pastoral Council and on the leadership team of the church’s young adult association. His writings have appeared in the New York Times, the American Conservative, and the Dallas Morning News.
