Community members joined the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life and the Office of Mission and Ministry for an evening of prayer, reflection, and respectful dialogue on what has been done and must now be done to protect the vulnerable, hold leaders accountable, and begin to reform, renew, and heal the church. Several leaders with diverse experiences and expertise examined lessons we can learn in the wake of recent revelations of abuse and cover-up in the Church, and in particular how to address an episcopal and ecclesial culture that avoids accountability and reform.
The Dahlgren Dialogues are a series of gatherings focused on key moral and public challenges in a spirit of prayer and dialogue organized by the Office of Mission and Ministry and the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life at Georgetown University.
